Bronny James, son of NBA star LeBron James, has been declared fit to play in the NBA after overcoming heart problems that struck him nine months ago.
The NBA’s Fitness to Play Panel evaluated and approved James, allowing him to take part in this week’s pre-draft combine, a crucial event in proving his worth as a prospect for the 2024 draft.
Despite a disappointing season as a freshman at USC, where he recorded averages of 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists, James will participate in 5-on-5 scrimmage games at the combine, giving NBA executives an opportunity to evaluate him more closely.
