Former Philadelphia 76ers coach Brett Brown has announced that he has stepped down as Australia NT head coach for the Tokyo Olympics. Brown was appointed after the end of the FIBA World Cup last year.
“Whilst I have a deep and long-standing passion for Australian Basketball, I am currently unable to commit to coaching the Boomers at next year’s Olympic Games”, Brown said in a statement per Basketball Australia.
