Following the Milwaukee Bucks’ recent elimination from the NBA In-Season Tournament by the Indiana Pacers, Bucks forward Bobby Portis openly challenged head coach Adrian Griffin and his teammates to improve.
“We need to be better,” Portis stated, emphasizing the need for better offensive structuring in crucial moments of the games. This challenge came after a 128-119 loss to the Pacers, which saw the Bucks collapse in the final quarter.
Griffin welcomed the criticism, acknowledging the need to be more aggressive in play-calling. The defeat leaves the Bucks with a 15-7 record, trailing the Boston Celtics by one game for the top spot in the East.
