Betclic Elite, the budgets of the 18 teams: AS Monaco sets a new record

The LNB has announced the budgets of the BetClic Elite teams for the 2023/24 season, with the two from the Euroleague – AS Monaco (over 27.5 million) and ASVEL (21)- obviously in the top two places.

Some notes:

Betclic ELITE’s average budget increases once again and sets a new record: 7.9 million (+16%).

Excluding the growth in expenses of the two teams competing in the EuroLeague, the average Betclic ELITE budget still increases by 9% compared to the previous season.

The record budget for a French basketball club was also broken this season: AS Monaco Basket has a budget of 27.5 million euros for the 2023-2024 season. A new record was also set for total expenses, with about 142 million euros for the 18 BetClic Elite clubs.
