The Indiana Pacers returned to winning ways thanks to 51 points from the duo of Bennedict Mathurin and Tyrese Haliburton in their clash against the Detroit Pistons.
The Canadian rookie scored 72 points in 3 games, the most for a rookie since 1995.
Mathurin revealed that he has marked on the schedule the games against the 5 players selected ahead of him in the 2022 NBA Draft.
“I know exactly who was drafted before me,” Mathurin said. “It’s nothing personal, but I’m going to make sure every time I step on the court they’re going to know who I am.”
