There hasn’t been a lot of Basketball Champions League action in February, but we were still witnessing some impressive individual performances. Prometey’s pairing leads the Team of the Month in February, they partnered up with players from JDA Dijon, Lenovo Tenerife and Tofas Bursa.
🏆 No lack of talents in the #BasketballCL Team of the Month! Who will claim February MVP honors? #RoadToBilbao

The backcourt belongs to David Holston and D’Angelo Harrison.
Holston had two monster games for JDA Dijon, waking the French team up completely, and putting them top of their group with back-to-back wins over Hapoel U-NET Holon and Galatasaray Nef.
The 36-year-old point guard had 15 points, 9 assists and 5 steals against Holon, then switched from fifth to sixth gear and stole a win on the road in Istanbul with a massive 18-point, 10-assist double-double against Galatasaray.
Another team with two wins in two tries in February: Prometey.
D’Angelo Harrison has led the champions of Ukraine all season long, and in two close games against Unicaja and Filou Oostende, he collected 41 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, 1 block and 2 wins.
The shooting guard scored in double figures in all but one game this season, including the BCL Qualifying Rounds. His current streak stands at nine straight games with ten or more points, Prometey are 7-2 during that stretch.
Harrison is not the only Prometey player on the Team of the Month in February. Miro Bilan set a pair of new BCL season-highs with 38 points and 46 efficiency against Filou Oostende, and his efficiency rating was the second highest of all time, trailing only Steven Gray’s 47 with Peristeri, against Rytas Vilnius last season.
Prometey are 4-1 when Bilan scores in double figures in BCL, and his 16 field goals against Oostende are a personal best by some distance.
Bilan is not the only Croat on the Team of the Month.
Tomislav Zubcic dunked his way through February, sending Tofas Bursa to 3-0, turning them into a surprisingly dominant side in a group with BAXI Manresa, Darussafaka and Nutribullet Treviso.
Zubcic had a couple of games with 16 points in February, and it must be his favorite number since he scored 16 points in four of his nine BCL games so far this season. Zubcic shot 6-of-11 from beyond the arc against Manresa and Treviso, climbing to five games with three or more three-pointers this season.
There is another hot shooting big guy on the Team of the Month. Kyle Wiltjer is a perfect fit for Txus Vidorreta’s system, and being comfortable in Lenovo Tenerife’s offense led to Wiltjer’s season-high of 25 points, done in 23 minutes against Rytas Vilnius.
Tenerife are also 3-0 in their group in the Round of 16, the Canadian power forward playing a key role in their dominance in 2021-22. He got to double digits only once in his first four BCL games with Tenerife, but then found his confidence to get 10+ points in seven of his last eight games.
