The Basketball Champions League Qualification Rounds just ended and the exciting prospect of taking part in the Regular Season became a reality for four additional teams who will be joining the fifth edition of the competition.
After Keravnos (CYP) and Tsmoki-Minsk (BLR) yesterday, Bakken Bears (DEN) and Igokea (BIH) won their ticket this evening to advance to the group stage of the Regular Season starting on October 20.
With 32 participating teams, coming from 18 different countries, the BCL is breaking new ground as being the first European league in quarter of a century with such a variety of countries in the Regular Season.
The groups are distributed as such:

Group B: ERA Nymburk (CZE), JDA Dijon (FRA), Keravnos (CYP), Tofas Bursa (TUR)
Group C: AEK (GRE), Cholet (FRA), Hapoel Holon (ISR), Tsmoki-Minsk (BLR)
Group D: Casademont Zaragoza (ESP), Falco Szombathely (HUN), Nizhny Novgorod (RUS), Pszczólka Start Lublin (POL)
Group E: Peristeri (GRE), Rytas Vilnius (LTU), SIG Strasbourg (FRA), VEF Riga (LAT)
Group F: Brose Bamberg (GER), Fortitudo Bologna (ITA), Pinar Karsiyaka (TUR), RETAbet Bilbao (ESP)
Group G: Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem (ISR), Igokea (BIH), Limoges CSP (FRA), Türk Telekom (TUR)
Group H: Darussafaka Tekfen (TUR), Filou Oostende (BEL), Happy Casa Brindisi (ITA), Hereda San Pablo Burgos (ESP)
The Regular Season consists of eight (8) groups of four (4) teams each, with games played home and away in a round robin system. The two (2) best ranked teams from each group will advance to the Play-Offs. The 3rd and 4th place finishers of each group will be eliminated.
The action will tip off on October 20 and conclude with the Final Four on May 7-9, 2021.
