BC Borisfen will not take part in FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season

BC Borisfen will not participate in the FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season, taking place from January 26-29, 2021 in hubs around Europe.

FIBA Regional Office Europe was informed by the club about critical COVID-19-related disruptions to their preparations, which will prevent the team from travelling and taking part in the competition.

BC Borisfen were set to compete against BC Parma, Donar Groningen and Heroes Den Bosch in the Group F tournament in s’Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.

As per the decision of the Board of FIBA Europe regarding FIBA Europe Cup hubs, all games of BC Borisfen will be considered as forfeited.

All other games in the group remain as scheduled.

FIBA Regional Office Europe will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation in Europe on a daily basis and communicate further updates regarding FIBA Europe Cup when necessary.
