Bayern’s GM Pesic: “We hope to play first Euroleague game with a capacity of 20% at the Audi Dome”

Pesic has spoken about the possibility to have supporters in attendance of Euroleague’s debut.

During a press conference, Bayern Munich’s GM Marko Pesic has spoken about the possibility of having supporters in attendance for the team’s first Euroleague game of the season, which will be played in a couple of weeks.

“Our goal is to play the first Euroleague game against Olimpia Milano on October 2nd with a capacity of 20% at the Audi Dome”, Pesic said per Robert Heusel.

Audi Dome is the second-lowest Euroleague arena for attendance with a 6,700 capacity. Bayern Munich’s football team has played behind closed doors their first Bundesliga game of the season yesterday, after an initial decision to have a 10% capacity allowed (7,500 spectators) was overturned due to a spike in COVID-19 cases in Bavaria.
