Baxi Manresa is close to finalising its seventh acquisition for the 2024/25 season. According to Esports RAC-1 and various Uruguayan media, the club is about to sign Santiago Vescovi, a former University of Tennessee player.
Vescovi, who recently played in the Summer League with the Golden State Warriors, is expected to sign a two-year contract. At 23 years old, the talented Uruguayan finished his college career with a 10.4-point, 4-rebound, and 3-assist average in 148 games.
Although he played a minor role in the Summer League, Vescovi is known for his ability to play both point guard and guard, with an excellent outside shot. If confirmed, he would be the fourth Uruguayan in the Liga Endesa.
