ACB side Basquet Girona has announced that the team has parted ways with legendary coach Aito Garcia Reneses, who led the side to a 15th place finish in 2022/23, avoiding relegation in LEB Oro after the promotion secured in 2021/22. This season Aito became the first to coach an ACB team at more than 75 years of age.
