Baskonia announces the arrival of Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot to strengthen its squad. This is the official statement of the club.
The French forward, with extensive NBA experience, is a new Baskonia player until 2026.
Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot and Baskonia have reached an agreement for the next two seasons. The French forward (Cannes, 1995 and 198 cm) with a great career of 328 games in the NBA, comes from Asvel Villeurbanne.
The French player, trained in Antibes in Provence, has a long NBA career with franchises such as Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks between the 2016 and 2022 seasons.
A player with experience also in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague between the ranks of Armani Milano and Asvel Villeurbanne last season. On the French team, Baskonia’s new player averaged 13 points and 11.8 credits last season.
Baskonia adds experience and proven physicality to its new outside lineup for the 2024-25 season.
