Baskonia announces suspension of Pierria Henry’s contract

SASKI BASKONIA, SAD and player Pierriá Henry wish to communicate:

On the occasion of the performance of a routine doping control on the player Pierriá Henry by FIBA authorities, FIBA agreed to open a file on the player and to provisionally suspend his license until the case is resolved.

Both the file and the agreed suspension do not stem from the fact that the player tested positive in a doping control for prohibited substances, but rather from a procedural issue.

As the provisional suspension of the player’s license will be maintained until the aforementioned file is completed, Saski Baskonia and Mr. Pierriá Henry have agreed to temporarily suspend the existing contract between the two parties until the indicated file is completed and until the duration of the aforementioned provisional suspension, trusting in a prompt and satisfactory resolution of the same as soon as possible.
