In the sixth round of Group K of the Basketball Champions League, Peristeri Bwin defeated Lenovo Tenerife 90-82 in a game that was even for most of the game. The Greek team qualified for the quarterfinals by finishing second in their group, just behind today’s opponents.
The hosts were led by 18 points each from Kaselakis and Williams and a double-double from Joe Ragland with 15 points and 14 assists.
For Tenerife, the 31 points and 5 assists of a wild Marcelinho Huertas and the 26 points of Kyle Guy, the only two players in double figures for the visitors, were not enough.
