Barcelona have announced that Oriol Paulí will not be part of the squad next season: the player’s contract expires and he will have to find a new arrangement. This is the statement from the Blaugrana.
“Oriol Paulí will not be at Barça for the 2024/25 season and his contract will expire on June 30th. The club thanks him for his commitment and wishes him all the best for his personal and professional future.
After playing for Gran Canaria and Morabanc Andorra, the small forward returned to the club in 2022 and in his two seasons played 76 games, including 45 in the Liga Endesa and 26 in the EuroLeague, helping the team win the Liga Endesa (2023) and two Catalan championships (2022 and 2023). He has always been a true professional, a defender of the club’s colors and a great partner both on and off the court.
Before leaving for the first time in 2014, Paulí had been with the club since 2006, spending eight years in the youth ranks, progressing from the U14 team to Barça B, with numerous successes, including MVP of the 2012 Spanish Junior Championship.
