From Spain, the website Sport reports Barcelona’s interest in Ricky Rubio.
The point guard from El Masnou, after ending his long and fruitful NBA career with the termination of his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, will soon have to decide whether to continue playing or end his experience on the court outright.
Barcelona, through direct contact with Juan Carlos Navarro, Rubio’s former teammate, is closely following the player’s situation.
The club, which according to Sportando would have Keenan Evans as its first target next season, is now covered at the point guard position, but in the summer Rokas Jokubaitis could end up in the NBA.
The Barcelona coach, Roger Grimau, won the EuroLeague as a player in 2010 together with the then very young Ricky Rubio.
