Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo speaks after the defeat in Game 4 of the series against the Milwaukee Bucks, who completed a 4-0 first round sweep.
I mean, there is no excuse for us. We hold ourselves to a higher standard. But like the earlier two questions you all asked, it has a lot to do with everything. Guys being in and out of lineups. Switching lineups. Changing the lineups. Dudes getting traded. Trying to get dudes adapted. Somebody gets hurt. Somebody catches COVID. It’s all that, going on during a compressed season. You can’t really get a flow in offense. I feel like that’s probably why we couldn’t get it together.
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. It’s my job to come back better every year.
Adebayo ended the series with 15.5 points, 9.3 rebounds and 4.3 assist per game, shooting 45% from the field and 76% from the foul line.
