Ataman: “Baldwin got two fouls on three-point shot, we played a bad game but we will qualify”

After Game 1 of the EuroLeague Playoffs, in which Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv upset Panathinaikos, coach Ergin Ataman expressed his disappointment with the referees to EuroLeague TV. These are his statements.

Coach Ataman’s words: “We did not play well, but the referees gave Baldiwn two fouls on three-point shots. It’s ridiculous and not good for basketball, I don’t get it. Every time Baldwin got free throws with that move where he picks up the ball and throws it in the air. But we missed so many shots and turned the ball over on key possessions. We are down 1-0, but we will win the series”.
