ASVEL has announced the signing of Ben Bentil, a 29-year-old Ghanaian forward standing 2.04 meters tall, to bolster its frontcourt.
Bentil, who played for Napoli this season with averages of 14.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 11 Serie A games, is scheduled to arrive in Villeurbanne today for medical tests.
This marks the fourth EuroLeague team for Bentil, following stints with Panathinaikos, Olimpia Milano, and Crvena Zvezda. ASVEL looks to Bentil to fill the gap left by Mbaye Ndiaye’s long-term injury and the physical issues of Kahudi and Lauvergne.
