ASVEL in Crisis, Coaching Change Under Consideration

The team, heavily defeated by both Étoile Rouge and Partizan Belgrade, shows no signs of improvement despite a budget exceeding 21 million euros and the arrival of new players. Current coach T.J. Parker seems to have no answers for the team’s disappointing performances. Some executives, who had previously advocated for a coaching change, have reopened the issue, putting pressure on Tony Parker, the club’s president and majority shareholder. T.J. Parker is under contract until 2026, but growing dissatisfaction could lead to drastic decisions in an attempt to revive the team in its fifth consecutive EuroLeague season.
