ASVEL brought an end to league leader Paris’ 10-game winning run with a dramatic 98-93 triumph in the Round 15 Rivalry Series at the Astroballe. ASVEL improves to 6-9 with their fourth straight home win, while Paris remains atop the standings at 11-4.
The first half, featuring 13 lead changes, ended with ASVEL surging to a 49-40 advantage. Paris rallied after the break, keeping the game tight, but ASVEL pulled away in the final stages. Theo Maledon shone with 22 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds, supported by Mbaye Ndiaye (19 points), Neal Sako (14), and Nando De Colo (12). For Paris, TJ Shorts starred with 29 points and 8 assists, while Nadir Hifi contributed 20 points.
