Arturs Kurucs, a 1.93m, 24-year-old guard from Latvia, has signed with Río Breogán following a stint with UCAM Murcia. A product of VEF Riga and Baskonia, Kurucs won the 2019/20 Liga Endesa title with the Basque club.
He also played in Greece with Promitheas Patras, averaging 6.7 points, and represented Latvia in the 2023 World Cup, where his team finished fifth.
Known for his defensive prowess and three-point shooting, Kurucs faced Río Breogán earlier this season, scoring 6 points in that game.
