Aris lands Nikos Persidis on 2-year deal

Aris Thessaloniki has confirmed the arrival of Nikos Persidis on a two-year contract. Persidis (27 years old, 2.00 meters) joins Aris from fellow Greek side Peristeri, where he averaged 1.5 points and 1.0 rebounds in a bench role across 17 games in the Greek League last season. After spending the first part of the 2022-23 campaign with AEK Athens, Persidis moved to Peristeri and played under ex-Olympiacos Piraeus legend Vassilis Spanoulis. Persidis has previously played for AGE Chalkida, Ikaros Chalkidas, Psychiko, Pagrati, Ionikos Nikaias, Ethnikos Piraeus, Diagoras Dryopideon, Panathinaikos Athens and Lavrio, all in his native Greece.
