Anthony Edwards was ejected during the 111-102 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers after receiving his second technical foul of the night.
With 16 technicals on the season, he is set to miss Friday’s game against Utah, pending league review. Edwards, frustrated over a no-call, directed profanity at referee Brent Barnaky, leading to his ejection.
“They should rescind the second technical,” he told ESPN. According to research, he’s the first player since DeMarcus Cousins (2016-17) to hit 16 techs before March. Coach Chris Finch stated: “He’s got to be better at handling his emotions.”
