Nikola Mirotic finished his EuroLeague season with an average rating of 22.0 per game. It was high enough to place him third overall for the season, but more importantly, it is the highest that an Olimpia player has ever recorded in a single season. The previous record – 20.2 – belonged to Mike James during the 2018/19 season. He was the first to average over 20 in a statistic that essentially includes all numbers. Mirotic achieved a 40 rating in Round 34, setting a personal best in a single game, too.
At the end of the season, Mirotic was third overall in rating, fifth in scoring (17.7), sixth in rebounding (6.4) and seventh in fouls drawn (4.9). He was second in free throws made (5.0 per game with 89.3 percent accuracy). Eleven times this season he scored at least 20 points in a single game. And he became the seventh Olimpia player with at least 100 three-pointers made in EuroLeague games.
