Aleksander Dziewa inks with Towers Hamburg
The big man comes from Slask Wroclaw
Veolia Towers Hamburg signed big man Aleksander Dziewa to a one-year contract, adding a seasoned power to its front line, the club said on Wednesday. Dziewa, a 25-year-old athlete with 2.07 meters, comes from Slask Wroclaw, where he played for the previous seven seasons. Dziewa recorded 11.6 points during the previous season, his second in the BKT EuroCup, on 60.8% two-point and 41.2% three-point shooting. He also had 2.1 assists and 5.0 rebounds.
Dziewa made an impression during a game against Slask in Hamburg last season, recording 17 points, 15 rebounds, and 2 blocks in just 30 minutes on the court.
