After six seasons, 359 games and five titles, Johannes Thiemann is leaving ALBA Berlin. The 30-year-old team captain is looking for a new challenge and will no longer play with the club next season.
Himar Ojeda, sports director of ALBA, praised Thiemann for his contribution both on the pitch and as a leader. Thiemann expressed gratitude to the ALBA family and fans for their unconditional support.
During his time in Berlin, Thiemann won three championships and two cups, becoming a pillar of the team.
