Adrian Banks says he would suspend European cups and resume them when situation is better

Banks: I like playing in European competitions, but I think that now they are dangerous for players

Fortitudo Bologna guard Adrian Banks said that he would suspend the European competitions to resume them when the worldwide situation will be better.

“I have a family, every player has daily contact with other people I don’t know, and this worries me, but I’m a professional and I say “I want to play” Banks told Repubblica. “But we should continue only in the domestic leagues: here I know the precautions taken and the risks. Traveling abroad, going to hotels, in places I don’t know, meeting people, it scares me. I like playing in European competitions, but I think that now they are dangerous for players. European competitions should be suspended, wait for things to be under control and then resume” Banks added.
