Achille Polonara headed to Fenerbahce: It was very difficult to leave Baskonia

Achille Polonara confirmed that he is leaving Baskonia to join “higher level club” which is Fenerbahce.

The Italian forward spoke with Italian newspaper Tuttosport.

“It was very difficult to leave Baskonia, it was the first club that gave me the opportunity to play in EuroLeague. I was very sorry to leave. But when a higher level team calls you, it is hard to say no”.
