ACB is evaluating all the options for next season.
The Spanish top division would be with 20 teams but considering the condensed schedule with the European Cups, the Eurobasket Qualifiers, the coronavirus uncertainty and the need to end the season before Mid June due to Olympic Qualifying Tournaments, one of the options is to have a season without playoffs, AS reports.
ACB made a survey with the 18 teams of Liga Endesa asking for a potential change of a format for next season.
One proposal is to, like in football, have a league without playoffs.
Another option is to divide the 20 teams in two groups of 10 teams each with playoffs.
