Aaron Gordon close to returning to the field after nearly a month

Aaron Gordon, out of action since Nov. 4, may be close to returning to the court, thus strengthening the Nuggets' long division.

The Denver Nuggets might get reinforcements for their frontcourt soon. Aaron Gordon is close to returning. Gordon practiced on Saturday, but his status for Sunday’s game at the LA Clippers remain uncertain.

The veteran forward hasn’t played since straining his calf on November 4. Gordon was off to a terrific start this season, with averages of 15.4 points on 52.9% shooting, including 54.5% on three-pointers.
