Panathinaikos have reportedly targeted Aliou Diarra and contacted Virtus Bologna to explore the possibility of bringing the center to Athens. According to Backdoor Podcast, the Greek club submitted a buyout offer worth approximately €450,000, but the proposal was considered insufficient by the Italian side.
Virtus are unwilling to part ways with one of the EuroLeague’s top centers in November, and their current stance is clear: Diarra is not for sale. Any potential move during the season could reportedly require a buyout fee of more than €1 million.
