Crvena Zvezda dominated Maccabi Tel Aviv 100-78 at Belgrade Arena to improve to 5-3 in EuroLeague. Tyson Carter finished with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists, while Butler added 21 points in just 15 minutes.
The Serbian side took control immediately with a spectacular first quarter. Carter scored 14 points in the opening 10 minutes, Chris Jones handed out 7 assists and Zvezda quickly built a 17-point lead. The margin grew to 47-22 in the second quarter, with the hosts making 9 of their first 12 three-pointers and recording 18 assists before halftime.
Carter finished 6-of-10 from deep, while Butler had 21 points on 6-of-10 shooting and 6-of-7 from the line. Jordan Nwora added 18 points and 3 assists, while Jones contributed 8 points and 9 assists. For Maccabi, now 2-6, Jimmy Clark III scored 19 points and Roman Sorkin added 13.
