Cooper Flagg missed the second half of Dallas’ win over Indiana after landing hard on his left shoulder. Aaron Nesmith fouled him from behind while trying to stop a breakaway dunk and was assessed a flagrant 1.
Flagg landed on the same shoulder he injured during his rookie season. “Cooper has left shoulder soreness, he’ll be evaluated in the next couple of days,” coach Dusty May said, adding that Flagg was in good spirits afterward.
The reigning Rookie of the Year had 14 points, five rebounds and six assists in only 17 minutes and was on pace for his first triple-double of the season.
