Jayson Tatum on Jaylen Brown: “There’s no beef, this ain’t Shaq and Kobe”

Jayson Tatum tried to shut down speculation surrounding his relationship with Jaylen Brown after his former teammate’s “cap” reaction. The Celtics star insisted he has no animosity toward Brown.

“I don’t have any animosity or beef or ill will towards him,” Tatum said. “This ain’t no f—ing Shaq and Kobe. There’s no beef.” He believes too much attention has been placed on their relationship rather than what they accomplished together.

Tatum added that he called and texted Brown the day he was traded and remains open to a direct conversation: “We’re too old to be having our relationship discussed on the internet.”
