Draymond Green plans to play next season even if the Golden State Warriors decide to move on from him

Draymond Green has no plans to retire after this season. The veteran said he would love to finish his career with Golden State but will continue playing even if the Warriors move on.

“I would love to retire a Golden State Warrior,” Green told CNBC Sport. “However, I’m also not Steph Curry. If that’s not here, I’m not going to retire.”

Green signed a one-year, $27.7 million contract during the offseason and is approaching the season knowing it could be his last with the franchise that drafted him in 2012.
