David DeJulius remains with Besiktas despite Lonnie Walker IV’s arrival, as the guard is on a paid loan from UCAM Murcia

Lonnie Walker IV’s arrival does not appear to mean David DeJulius is leaving Besiktas, at least for now. The American point guard is on a paid loan from UCAM Murcia, and any potential exit would have to involve the Spanish club.

According to Olga Lorente, Besiktas have not contacted Murcia to terminate DeJulius’ loan despite the addition of Walker. The guard therefore remains with the Turkish club.

This season, DeJulius has appeared in 4 EuroLeague games, averaging 2.5 points and 1.3 assists in 10.3 minutes, while in the Turkish league he is posting 11.3 points, 3 assists and 1 steal in 18.3 minutes.
