Panathinaikos center Mathias Lessort has been named EuroLeague Round 4 MVP. The French big man finished with 19 points, 8 rebounds and a PIR of 30 in just 23 minutes in the 92-74 win over Fenerbahce.
Lessort shot 6-of-9 from two-point range and 7-of-10 from the free-throw line, adding an assist, a steal, a block and 6 fouls drawn. It is the fourth Round MVP award of his career and his first since returning from his fibula injury.
The highest PIR of the round actually belonged to Olimpia Milano’s Moses Wright, who posted 32 with 23 points and 8 rebounds in a 97-79 loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv. Chris Duarte followed with 31, Antonio Blakeney with 29 and Wendell Moore with 28.
