Ty Jerome leads Memphis with 16 points, while Caleb Wilson’s 21 points and Leonard Miller’s double-double are not enough for Chicago.

The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Chicago Bulls 104-100 at the United Center in an NBA preseason matchup. The visitors shot 47.4% from the field, with balanced scoring and efficiency at the free-throw line proving key to their victory.

Ty Jerome led Memphis with 16 points, knocking down four of his six three-point attempts. GG Jackson followed with 14 points, while Cameron Boozer and Zach Edey added 10 apiece. Edey also grabbed five rebounds, while Javon Small contributed nine points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals.

On the other side, the Bulls were unable to overcome the 21 points scored by Caleb Wilson, who knocked down five three-pointers on 11 attempts, and Norman Powell’s 17 points, largely fueled by his accuracy from the free-throw line, where he converted 10 of 12 attempts. Josh Giddey also reached double figures with 13 points, while Leonard Miller recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Chicago outrebounded Memphis 43-40 but struggled with its shooting, finishing with a 37.5% field-goal percentage. The Grizzlies held on to their lead until the final buzzer to secure a four-point victory.
