LeBron James has denied reports that he scolded Joel Embiid for arriving late to a Philadelphia 76ers practice. The Sixers star responded directly on social media to shut down the story.
During the Knicks-Sixers broadcast, Mike Breen said Embiid had arrived a couple of minutes late to practice and that LeBron had called him out. James quickly denied the report on Instagram: “He ain’t been late so stop the lies.”
Neither LeBron nor Embiid played in Philadelphia’s preseason opener against New York, which the Sixers won 120-97.
