Zalgiris Kaunas has announced a financial penalty for Carsen Edwards. The sanction comes after the player was stopped while driving under the influence.
The club said it reviewed the circumstances of the incident and, in accordance with team rules, decided to fine Edwards. Zalgiris stressed that such behavior does not align with the club’s values, the standards expected from professional athletes, or the responsibility required from those representing the organization.
The club also reiterated that every team member is expected to respect the law and act as a responsible example both on and off the court.
