Jamal Shead has agreed to a three-year, $24 million contract extension with the Toronto Raptors. The new deal will keep the guard under contract through the 2029-30 season.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the extension comes just two seasons after Shead was selected with the No. 45 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
Shead appeared in all 82 regular-season games in 2025-26 and recorded 354 assists off the bench, the most in the NBA and a franchise record for a reserve.
