PAOK are close to signing Donatas Motiejunas. According to Sport24.gr, the 36-year-old Lithuanian center, who stands 2.13 meters tall, is expected to arrive in Thessaloniki between Wednesday, September 30 and Thursday, October 1 to complete the final steps and sign with the Greek club.
The two sides reportedly reached an agreement after initial contacts were established last week. Motiejunas would strengthen the frontcourt of Andrea Trinchieri’s team, with PAOK looking to complete its roster ahead of its EuroCup opener against Manresa on September 30.
The deal is reportedly considered essentially done, with Motiejunas’ arrival in Greece and the final formalities still pending before the signing becomes official.
