Derthona Basket has officially signed Amar Alibegović to a multi-year contract, completing its roster for the 2026-27 season. The 1995-born forward arrives after splitting last season between Trapani and Granada, where he averaged 12.6 points and 3.8 rebounds in Spain.
“I’m extremely happy to join a club like Derthona,” Alibegović said during his presentation at the Nova Arena. “Our ambition is to win as much as possible. I want to bring energy and leadership to help this group have a high-level season.”
General manager Gianmaria Vacirca revealed that Alibegović had long been a target: “We have pursued him for more than just this summer. He was a player we strongly wanted, and we are delighted to begin this multi-year journey together.” According to Derthona, he will make his debut Sunday against Tezenis Verona.
