The New Orleans Pelicans have signed Solomon Washington to a training camp deal, according to HoopsHype. The forward will compete for a roster spot ahead of the 2026-27 season.
After three years at Texas A&M, Washington transferred to Maryland and averaged 9.8 points and 9.2 rebounds in 25 games. He collected 3.1 offensive rebounds per game while playing 32 minutes a night.
Washington also appeared in three Summer League games in 2026, averaging 3.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He joins a Pelicans camp frontcourt that includes Zion Williamson, Derik Queen, Karlo Matkovic and Yves Missi.
