The Utah guard has finalized a five-year deal with the franchise after months of negotiations between his agent Jason Ranne and Jazz president Austin Ainge.

Utah Jazz guard Keyonte George has agreed to a five-year, $157.5 million rookie-scale contract extension with the franchise, sources told ESPN. George’s agent, Jason Ranne of THE•TEAM, finalized the agreement Friday after months of negotiations with Jazz president Austin Ainge.

The deal contains no player or team options and follows a breakout season in which George averaged 23.6 points per game. The guard, selected in the first round of the 2023 NBA Draft, has now secured a long-term commitment from Utah as he continues his development with the franchise. The agreement keeps George under contract with the Jazz for the next five seasons.
