The Pallacanestro Varese CEO considers working in the league one of the most ambitious goals of his post-playing career

Luis Scola hopes to return to the NBA, this time as an executive. The 46-year-old, currently serving as CEO of Pallacanestro Varese, discussed his long-term ambitions in an interview with RANDOM.

“I would like to work in the NBA. I think it would be a good place for me,” Scola said. The Argentine stressed the importance of being prepared: “When the opportunity comes, you want to do well, because maybe it won’t come again.”

Scola also contrasted his wide-ranging responsibilities in Italy with the more specialized structure of NBA organizations. Despite those differences, his objective remains clear: “The goal would be to return at some point.”
