John Konchar has agreed to a deal with the New York Knicks. His agent, George S. Langberg, confirmed the agreement to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

The Knicks have two open roster spots, and sources told ESPN that the 30-year-old has a strong chance to make the final team. New York also plans to sign veteran center Drew Eubanks to compete for a roster spot.

Konchar is entering his eighth NBA season after playing for Memphis and Utah. He averaged 5.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists across 26 games with the Jazz last season.
