Reyer Venezia, Rice sidelined for two to three months

Sir’Jabari Rice is expected to be sidelined for two to three months, according to Gazzettino di Venezia. The Umana Reyer guard underwent surgery after suffering a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot during the preseason game against Verona in Jesolo.

Rice successfully underwent osteosynthesis surgery with a percutaneous screw, a procedure chosen by the medical staff and the player with the aim of facilitating a faster recovery and more solid bone healing.

In the meantime, Reyer have already moved to strengthen their roster, signing 35-year-old American guard Erick Green, who is expected to arrive in Venice in the coming hours.
