Marius Grigonis has clarified his comments about the difficult moments he experienced at Panathinaikos. The Lithuanian stressed that his four-year spell in Athens cannot be described solely through its negative aspects.
Grigonis fondly recalled playing in front of a packed OAKA and winning the EuroLeague in 2024, which he called the pinnacle of his career. He also highlighted the strong relationships he built with people throughout the club.
“My interview was about my experience, including difficult moments, but it was never meant to erase the good things.” The 32-year-old, now back at Zalgiris, concluded by expressing his love and respect for the Panathinaikos family.
